AOA Physical Recreation Course – “Laser Tag Course” The Award Operating Authority (AOA) will organize Laser Tag Course from November 2026 to February 2027. AYP Participants at any level can start their Physical Recreation by joining this course. Successful completion can ful fil l the Bronze Award Physical Recreation Section (Minor) requirement, while Silver and Gold Award participants may arrange follow-up activities after the end of the course to fulf i ll specif ic requirements if necessary. Through this course, participants will gradually learn how to use laser tag equipment while developing their focus, self-confidence, and discipline. The course also includes group practice to help participants build teamwork skills through interactive gameplay, improving communication, coordination, and adaptability. AOA Skills Section Course – “Intangible Cultural Heritage Handcraft Course 2026/27” The Award Operating Authority (AOA) will organize an Intangible Cultural Heritage Handcraft Course from November 2026 to March 2027. AYP Participants at any level can start their Skills Section by joining this course. Successful completion can fulfill the Bronze Award Skills Section (Minor) requirement, while Silver and Gold Award participants may arrange follow-up activities after the end of the course to fulfill specific requirements if necessary. This course teaches how to make four types of handcrafts, including the “Seal Carving”, “Mini Flower Board”, “Bamboo Weaving Coaster”, and “Neon Tube”. Participants will experience firsthand four Intangible Cultural Heritage crafts of Hong Kong, acquire the crafting skills and hence discover their personal potential. Through professional guidance and hands-on creation, participants will deepen their understanding of local culture, fostering an appreciation for preserving precious cultural heritage. Successful completion can fulfill the Bronze Award Skills Section (Minor) requirement, while Silver and Gold Award participants may arrange follow-up activities after the end of the course to fulfill specific requirements if necessary. The course aims to provide systematic personal image enhancement training, enabling participants to master basic makeup and hair styling techniques, and gradually build a positive self-image and be confident in social life. In addition, an orientation day will be arranged for participants to get to know each other by experiencing various team activities at the beginning of the course. (The programme will be conducted in Cantonese Only).   “Fly High 2026 – City Fitness Challenge+” The Fly High Charity Sports Programme 2026 is fully sponsored and supported by Tencent Charity Foundation and Gaw Capital’s People’s Place. It aims to encourage grassroots youth and the public to engage in sports, fostering a healthy and positive lifestyle. Through sports, we strive to support youth development, strengthen community ties, and inject positive energy into the community. AYP is honoured to be a beneficiary organisation, launching the “Fly High 2026 — City Fitness Challenge+” Hybrid Fitness Youth Promotion Programme. This programme uses hybrid fitness as a medium, rooted in schools before expanding into the community, and includes cooperative hybrid fitness competitions for teams of four, encouraging young people to push their limits. As the first phase of this initiative, we are adopting a school-based approach. Participating schools can not only book the HYROX365 On-Campus Experience Day but also recommend students to attend regular training sessions at the 24-hour gyms under EFX24 Group, the consultant for this project. Award Operating Authority (AOA) and School Operating Authorities (SOA) will host the Silver Level Adventurous Journey Instructor Training Course from June to September this year. The course aims to teach instructional skills for the Adventurous Journey Section and cultivate more hiking instructors. This will support hiking training for Bronze and Silver Adventurous Journey Sections and assist the Award Scheme in developing young people. Award recipients are welcome to become instructors to continue their Award journey. We also welcome anyone interested in youth development to register.
