Funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission, the “More Than Adventure” project, organised by the Hong Kong Award for Young People, was successfully concluded on 31 August 2025.
Aligned with the direction of the Youth Development Blueprint, the project provided young people with systematic, high-quality, and large-scale adventure training activities. Through experiencing various adventure training activities and the progressive guidance and intervention of instructors, the project helped young people promote positive self-development, enhance resilience, cultivate team spirit and a sense of discipline, broaden their horizons, and boost creativity. Over the two-year project period, a total of 3,536 young people participated in adventure training programmes, including single-day camps, consecutive day camps, one-night/two-day camps, two-night/three-day camps, and three-night/four-day camps.
