CRS Hiking Instructor Recruitment Scheme
The Hong Kong Award for Young People(AYP) is committed to providing diverse activities to encourage young people to challenge themselves through different opportunities. As one of the Sections of the Award Scheme, Adventurous Journey Section aims to encourage young people a spirit of adventure and discovery. Within the training, Central Registration Scheme (CRS) Instructors play an important role in it, they not only possess extensive experience, but also have the passion for nurturing young people. They are crucial to facilitate our activities to be successfully and safely conducted.
With the increasing number of AYP participants, we hope to recruit more individuals with professional wilderness knowledge and the passion for youth work. With the support of China Hong Kong Mountaineering and Climbing Union, we are now sincerely recruiting individuals with Level 3 Mountain Craft Training (Leader) Certificate or above to become our CRS hiking Instructors. They will be able to share their professional knowledge and skills with young people while gaining more practical teaching experiences. After completing the designated workshops and teaching placement, potential instructors will be nominated to become the Bronze Level or Silver Level CRS Hiking Instructor based on their performance.
There will be an online briefing session about this Recruitment Scheme on 8th August 2025(Friday), at 7pm. No registration is required for the briefing session. Interested parties are welcome to attend! (Click “Scheme Details” for the meeting link)
