ARSOII\/26\/2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP), formerly known as The Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s Award was established in 1961 as a local registered non-profit organization. AYP is committed to providing a non-formal education platform for young people to explore their full potential and make positive changes.<\/p>\n<p>Through training camp service, we provide the youth development programmes by providing outdoor training and experiential learning for young people to challenge themselves, discover their hidden abilities and gain a special sense of satisfaction and achievement.<\/p>\n<p>We are now looking for a passionate candidate to fill up the post of Assistant Manager (ARSOII) \u2013 Youth Development, Camp Service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To assist the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Camp Manager in the operation of the camp<\/li>\n<li>To lead and manage the operation teams and deliver the utmost positive experience for the campers<\/li>\n<li>To keep abreast of the market trends in facility and equipment management<\/li>\n<li>To supervise and manage the full-time and part-time staff to ensure the best efficiency and performance<\/li>\n<li>To supervise the facility and booking team to facilities management and camp booking<\/li>\n<li>To liaise and cooperate with the stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Program Leading may be required<\/li>\n<li>Shift and overnight duties required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>(i)\u00a0<\/strong>A full-time teacher\u2019s certificate with physical education as one of the subjects, or equivalent; or<\/li>\n<li><strong>(ii)<\/strong>A post-secondary qualification in management of recreation and sports from one of the following, or equivalent\n<ul>\n<li>Accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution; or<\/li>\n<li>Higher Diploma from a Hong Kong polytechnic\/polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Possess relevant high and low event Challenge Course Technical Certificates are preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience in leading and organizing youth and children training activities will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and knowledge in Camp Management and Facilities Management<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong organizational and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently and as a team<\/li>\n<li>Eager to work with young people in a non-profit setting<\/li>\n<li>44 shift hours per week<\/li>\n<li>Candidates may be required to work on Saturday, Sundays or Public Holidays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested parties should send application letter with full CV, expected salary and available reporting date to the Senior Manager \u2013 Administration, HR, Finance &amp; IT by email to <a href=\"mailto:recruit@ayp.org.hk\">recruit@ayp.org.hk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Prospective candidates are requested to undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check.<\/p>\n<p>Our website:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ayp.org.hk\/en\/\">https:\/\/ayp.org.hk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job recruitment for the position of Assistant Manager (ARSOII) \u2013 Youth Development, Camp Service (Ref.
